Conceived at first as fan-service for the “furry” fandom, Leilani and her friends Kalea and Malana, became superstars almost overnight, as fans of the sea otters’ short fiction and exciting artwork flocked immediately. Since then, “The Depths” has gone through its share of struggles and challenges. But the story continues and there are definite hopes for spin-offs and short-subject tropical adventures as well. In many circles, it’s the number-one adult furry webcomic available free online.
